  • 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. melted butter
  • 2 1/4 c. brown sugar (1 box)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or coconut
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

    Set aside.

    Stir brown sugar and butter.

    Cool slightly.

    Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well.

    Add flour and mix in nuts, chocolate chips and vanilla. Pour into a greased waxed pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 40 plus.
