- 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. melted butter
- 2 1/4 c. brown sugar (1 box)
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or coconut
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

2Set aside.

3Stir brown sugar and butter.

4Cool slightly.

5Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well.

6Add flour and mix in nuts, chocolate chips and vanilla. Pour into a greased waxed pan.

7Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 40 plus.
