- 1 3/4 sticks margarine
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1 c. chopped nuts or coconut
Directions

1Melt butter on low heat.

2Add brown sugar and mix well.

3Add flour gradually.

4Add chocolate chips and nuts or coconut.

5Pour into large greased biscuit pan.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes (no longer).

7Let cool and cut in squares.

8These are chewy, like brownies.
