  • 1 box brown sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 2/3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Cream the sugar and oleo.

    Add Crisco; cream.

    Add eggs; beat. Add flour; blend well.

    Add nuts, chips and vanilla.

    Bake at 350° until firm around side of pan, but soft in center and golden brown.

    Use a 9 x 13-inch or similar pan.
