- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt butter and add brown sugar.

2Beat well and cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add sifted dry ingredients and beat well.

4Add chopped nuts and chocolate chips.

5Spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 350° in preheated oven.
