Ingredients
- 1 small or medium head cabbage (1 qt. chopped or shredded)
- 1/2 c. green bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 c. grated carrots
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 2 c. celery
Directions

1From a small or medium head of cabbage, chop or shred enough to equal 1 quart.

2Add the bell peppers, carrots and 1 tablespoon salt.

3Soak this mixture for 1 hour, then drain.

4Take the sugar, vinegar, 1/2 cup water and prepared mustard.

5Let come to a boil. Let cool.

6Add the celery.

7Pour this mixture over the drained cabbage mix.

8Put in jars; keep refrigerated.
