- 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. melted fat or oil
Directions

1Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt.

2Mix together milk and egg; add fat.

3Add mixture to cornmeal mixture.

4Stir to mix. Grease baking pan.

5Fill half full.

6Bake in oven preheated 425° for about 25 minutes or until browned.
