- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Mix well corn meal and flour; add boiling water a little at a time.

2Use a little warm water to make the batter just right.

3Let set overnight or longer until sours a little.

4Buttermilk will make it sour faster.

5Once you are ready to bake, add salt, sugar, soda and baking powder.

6Grease pan and bake until brown.
