- 1 1/2 c. corn meal
- 1 stick margarine (or butter)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Combine corn meal, sugar and salt.

2Mix well and add boiling water and margarine.

3Cook until thick in a pan.

4Remove the mixture from heat.

5Add milk, eggs and baking powder and mix well. Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 350° for 1 hour.

6Remove from heat and set to cool 20 minutes before cutting.

7Makes 24 servings.
