  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted shortening

Directions

    Sift together the dry ingredients.

    Mix egg and milk; stir into dry mixture.

    Add melted shortening and mix thoroughly.
