- 1 1/4 c. sweet milk
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. self-rising corn meal
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.

3Add flour and corn meal, stirring only to mix.

4No need to sift flour or corn meal unless you prefer.

5Pour in greased baking pan or dish.

6Bake in hot oven, 425°, for 25 minutes or until brown on top.
