- 1 c. meal (white plain)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- buttermilk
- dash of soda
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except butter.

2Add buttermilk to have ingredients not too thick.

3Melt butter in Pyrex dish (oblong). Pour half of melted butter in mixture.

4Pour in baking dish.

5Bake at 400° to 500° until light brown.
