  • 2 boxes Jiffy yellow corn meal mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • skimmed milk (if needed)

Directions

    Empty meal in bowl.

    Add the other ingredients, stirring well. Add milk only if mixture is not soft enough to pour.

    Pour mixture into a well-greased pan.

    Bake at 350° until well done (mixture starts to pull away from side of pan, or check with toothpick).

    Let cool; cut into squares.

    May be served cold or warm.
