  • 1 1/4 cup Flour
  • 3/4 cup Cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 stick Margerine or Butter ( softened)
  • 3/4 cup Milk

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients well.

    Cut in margerine with a fork.

    Mix milk in with a fork until until moistened thoroughly (Will be gooey).

    Drop by tablespoons on a baking sheet.

    Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

    These are sweet and tender, almost like a cornmeal cookie.
