  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 onions
  • 1 qt. tomatoes, drained
  • 1 pt. corn
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c. self-rising corn meal
  • 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Brown onions in oil and add beef.

    Cook until the red is gone. Add tomatoes, corn, salt and pepper.

    Mix 3/4 cup self-rising corn meal and 1/2 cup milk.

    Spoon over meat mixture.

    Bake at 350° until corn bread is browned.
