  • 1/2 c. real butter
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of red pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground chuck beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 large cornbread (salted)
  • 1 pt. oysters

Directions

    In large black iron pot, melt butter and add ground chuck. Cook with onions, celery and bell pepper until all are done.

    Add mushroom soup, oysters and juice, parsley and corn bread (crumbled into very small pieces).

    Add jar of mushrooms before pouring into a greased baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

    Garnish with parsley.
