Corn Bread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 skillet or pan corn bread and 6 slices toasted bread, crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • 3 or 4 eggs
  • 1 c. chicken fat or oleo
  • 2 small cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked celery
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped, cooked onion
  • 6 to 8 c. broth (use 1 bouillon cube to each c. water)*

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and bake 45 to 60 minutes in 350° to 400° oven.
