Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. bell pepper, chopped
- 2 boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 to 4 c. broth
- salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 raw eggs
- deboned meat (if desired)
- 2 slices bread, toasted and crumbled
Directions

1Make a skillet of cornbread (do not make thick).

2Boil hen in 1 1/2 quarts water.

3Crumble corn bread and slices of bread.

4Add vegetables that have been simmered for about 5 minutes in 1/2 cup of broth.

5Make sure everything is cool that goes into the bread crumbs.

6(If hot water is used, bread will gum together.)

7Add seasonings, chopped eggs, beaten raw eggs and meat, if desired. Pour broth over mixture, stirring lightly so as not to mash up crumbs.

8Bake in a 400° oven until brown.

9Stir one time while baking.
