Corn Bread Dressing With Oysters

- 8 to 10 c. coarsely crumbled corn bread
- 2 slices white bread, toasted and torn into small pieces
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 pt. shucked oysters, drained and chopped or 2 (8 oz. each) cans whole oysters, drained and chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 5 to 6 c. turkey or chicken broth
Directions

1Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl.

2Stir in enough broth until the mixture is very wet.

3Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish or shallow 3-quart baking dish.

4Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Yield:
