Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can creamed corn
  • 1 (20 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 c. rolled cracker crumbs
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small jar chopped pimiento (optional)
  • 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Combine all ingredients; mix well.

    Pour in greased casserole dish.

    Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

    Sprinkle top with 1/2 to 1 cup of grated cheese and leave in oven just long enough to melt, but don't brown the cheese.
