- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. grated cheese, divided
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 (No. 303) can cream corn
- 2/3 c. can milk
- 1 lb. bacon, fried
Directions

1Rub butter over bottom and sides of pie shell.

2Saute onion in small amount of bacon drippings.

3Reserve 5 to 6 slices of bacon for garnish and crumble rest into onion.

4Spread over bottom of pie shell.

5Sprinkle cup of cheese over this.

6Set aside.

7Heat milk, add eggs, corn and rest of cheese until smooth.

8Pour into pie shell.

9Bake in hot oven, 450° for ten minutes.

10Reduce heat to 325° for 25 minutes more.
