Corn-Cheese Spoonbread

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 (17 oz.) cans cream-style corn
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Combine eggs, corn, butter, cornbread mix and baking powder in large bowl.

    Pour mixture into lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.

    Sprinkle top with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
