Ingredients
- 4 fresh medium ears of corn or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn
- 1/2 c. cubed, peeled potato
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Directions

1In a large saucepan, combine frozen corn, potato, onion, water, bouillon cubes and pepper.

2Bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until corn and potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.

4Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the milk and the margarine.

5Combine the remaining milk and flour.

6Combine milk and flour mixture into corn mixture.

7Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

8Cook and stir 1 minute more.

9Makes 4 to 6 side dish servings.
