  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 1/4 c. cut up potatoes
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. cream-style corn
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook bacon in saucepan until crisp. Remove from pan and save for later use. Lightly brown onion in bacon fat; add potatoes and water. Boil gently for 10 minutes. Add corn and cook 10 minutes longer. Stir in milk, salt and bacon. Heat just until hot. Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.
