- 4 slices bacon
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 small onion
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. milk or half and half
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Dice bacon and fry in a saucepan until golden brown.

2Remove from grease with slotted spoon.

3Drain on paper towel.

4Pour off all fat except 1 tablespoon.

5Chop the onion fine and saute in bacon fat until limp.

6Reduce heat and add corn and enough milk to make desired consistency.

7Add salt and pepper to taste.

8Heat, but do not boil.

9Serve in soup bowls with bacon pieces sprinkled on top.
