Ingredients
- 12 ears sweet corn
- 1/2 gal. milk
- 2 c. potatoes (bite-size)
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Remove corn from cobs.

2Place cobs in large soup pot.

3Cover with 1/2 gallon of milk.

4Bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat and simmer 2 hours.

6Remove cobs from milk.

7Cool enough to handle.

8With back of spoon, scrape corn cobs.

9Discard cobs.
-
10Pour scrapings along with fresh corn, potatoes and onion in milk.

11Cook until potatoes are tender.

12Salt and pepper to taste.
