- 8 ounces bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 29 ounces creamed corn
- 29 ounces corn
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 red potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 small bay leaves
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 8 tablespoons flour
- 8 tablespoons butter
Directions

1Peel and cube potato; set aside.

2Cut up Bacon into small pieces.

3In large Saucepan on low heat, fry the bacon until crisp.

4Add in onion and garlic, saute until onion is transparent.

5Put in crockpot.

6Stir in Cream Corn, Chicken Broth, Potato, and spices.

7Low 4-6 hours.

8Mix Flour/Butter into Blond Roux, add just enough butter to make flour wet.

9Mix into Chowder, let thicken.
