- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 12 cup celery, chopped
- 12 cup green peppers or 12 cup red pepper, chopped
- 2 large idaho potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups water
- 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans corn
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup water
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Fry chopped bacon on medium high heat, after a few minutes add onion, celery, pepper, and fry for a few more minutes.

3Add 2 cups of water and potatoes and let simmer until potatoes are almost cooked through.
