- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 c. chopped ham
- 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 3 or 4 medium red potatoes, cut into cubes
- 2 c. chicken broth
- salt and pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
- 2 c. skim milk
- 3 Tbsp. oleo
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- chopped parsley
- crumbled bacon for garnish
Directions

1Melt oleo.

2Add ham, onion and celery.

3Saute about 10 minutes.

4Add thyme and potatoes and cook, stirring.

5Add chicken broth; bring to a boil.

6Lower heat.

7Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer about 15 minutes.

8Add corn and milk and heat until simmering.
