- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 8 weiners
Directions

1Combine cornmeal, 1/2 cup flour, paprika, salt, garlic salt and pepper, mixing lightly.

2Add milk, egg and 2 tablespoons oil; beat with a fork until smooth.

3Roll each weiner in all-purpose flour; coat evenly with batter, allowing excess to drain.

4Heat 1 inch of salad oil to 375°; fry weiners for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.

5Drain.

6Insert wooden skewers in the end of each weiner, and serve with mustard or catsup, if desired.

7Makes 8 corn dogs.
