  • 2/3 c. Aunt Jemima cornmeal
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 8 to 10 frankfurters

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except frankfurters; mix well. Insert wooden skewer in one end of each frankfurter.

    Coat with additional flour.

    Dip into cornmeal mixture.

    Fry in deep, hot oil (375°) until golden brown.
