- 1 c. fresh corn kernels
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Cook corn in salted water; drain off liquid.

2Reserve 1 cup liquid.

3Add butter in saucepan; add flour and cook.

4Stir rapidly until smooth and rolls away from sides of pan.

5Remove from heat. Add eggs, 1 at a time, and really stir.

6Add corn.

7Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil; cook until golden brown and puffy. Drain on paper towels.
