- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. whole corn kernels
- 1 egg
- pinch of sugar
- 1/4 c. milk
- vegetable oil for deep frying
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar for serving
Directions

1In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.

2Add the corn, egg and sugar.

3Stir in milk to form a dough that is soft, but not runny.

4In a deep-fryer, heat the oil to 325°.

5Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of fritter dough into the oil and fry for about 10 to 15 minutes.

6Roll in confectioners sugar, if desired. Serve warm with honey butter.
