- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup vegetable shortening oil or drippings
Directions

1Mix the meal mix and the milk.

2Add the water and mix until blended.

3Spoon approximately 1/3 cup mix into the hot well-greased skillet for each fritter.

4Fry to golden brown on both sides.

5Makes approximately 6 medium-sized fritters.
