  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Beat egg yolks well; add milk and then sifted dry ingredients and the melted butter.

    Add the well drained corn and drop by spoonfuls into deep 375° fat and fry until golden brown.

    Drain on paper towels and serve hot with maple syrup.
