- 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except vegetable oil. Set aside for 20 minutes.

2Heat the oil in skillet. Drop one teaspoonful of mixture for each fritter.

3Cook until golden brown (without turning), about 1 minute.

4Remove fritters with slotted spatula, allowing oil to drip off, putting cooked fritters onto paper towel.

5Makes about 20 fritters.
