Corn-Green Chile Casserole

  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. corn meal
  • black and red pepper
  • 1 large can chopped green chile peppers
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped white onion
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 large cans creamed corn
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped banana pepper

Directions

    Saute onion and peppers slightly in butter.

    Mix cornmeal with milk and mix into all ingredients.

    Pour into buttered casserole and bake in preheated 350° oven about 45 minutes.
