  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. shortening, melted
  • 3 c. buttermilk

    Combine all ingredients and mix well.
