  • 12 ears fresh corn in husks
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Pull back husks from corn.

    (Do not remove.)

    Remove silks. Rub corn with butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Pull husks over corn and tie the top with heavy string.

    Cook, covered with grill lid, over medium-hot coals (350° to 400°) for 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally.

    Remove strings and serve.
