Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 c. fresh raw corn
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt (if desired)
- 2 beaten eggs
Directions

1Reserve 1/2 cup crumbs for top.

2Mix rest with 1/2 cup melted butter and press in a 9-inch pie plate.

3Combine 2 tablespoons butter, 1 cup milk, corn and salt.

4Boil; reduce heat and cook 3 minutes.

5Add flour to remaining 1/4 cup milk to form a smooth paste.

6Add slowly to corn mixture.

7Stir constantly.

8Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until thick.

9Cool slightly.

10(Add onion salt, if desired.)

11Add beaten eggs slowly, stirring constantly.

12Pour into crust.

13Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.

14Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
