- 3 c. milk, scalded
- 1 c. corn meal or grated raw corn
- 1/2 c. currants or raisins
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) margarine
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 275°.

2Combine the milk and corn meal or corn, and stir until smooth.

3Add the remaining ingredients.

4Pour into a greased 9-inch loaf pan or 1 quart casserole.

5Bake for about 2 hours, or until set.

6The pudding may be served hot or cold.
