- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped fine
- 1 c. whole kernel corn, canned or fresh
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Heat butter and salad oil in skillet.

2Saute onion, add corn, sugar, salt and pepper.

3Cool and add cheese and well beaten egg yolks.

4Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

5Pour in well-greased 9 x 11-inch casserole and set in pan of hot water.

6Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.

7Serve at once.

8Serves 4. This is good with pork.
