Corn Pudding Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tbl spoon butter
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 4 oz of corn bread mix (half of Jiffy box)
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Heat oven to 350.

    Melt butter in a pan over medium low heat and saute onion until translucent about 8min. Put all ingredients in a bowl including the onion mixture and mix well.

    Pour the wet mixture into a greased 8 x 8 baking dish. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
