Ingredients

  • 1 doz. ears corn
  • 3 large green peppers
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 3 hot peppers
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 stalks celery

Directions

    Chop celery, onions, cabbage and peppers.

    Cut corn from cob and scrape cob.

    Combine all ingredients, except turmeric.

    Bring to boil.

    Reduce heat and cook 30 minutes.

    Stir often.

    Add turmeric.

    Fill hot sterile jars and seal.

    Makes 8 pints.
