  • 18 ears corn
  • 1 large cabbage
  • 6 large onions
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 3 pods pepper (hot, optional)
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 3 qt. vinegar
  • 1 c. salt
  • 1 c. flour (plain)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except flour and 1 quart of vinegar.

    Cook to a slow boil for 45 minutes.

    Then add flour and remaining vinegar.

    Cook 5 minutes.

    Can while hot.

    Makes 12 pints.
