Corn Stuffing Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 3/4 c. (12 oz. can) cream-style corn
  • 1 c. water
  • pinch of ground thyme
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) seasoned bread stuffing
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine

Directions

    Cook onion and celery in butter.

    Add corn, water, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and thyme.

    Bring to boil.

    Pour over bread stuffing and mix lightly.

    Add egg yolks and shape into 12 balls.

    Place in shallow pan and pour melted butter over all. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for about 15 minutes.
