- 2 c. masa harina
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Combine masa and water.

2Mix with hands until dough is moist. Let stand for 15 minutes.

3Divide into 12 balls.

4Dampen dough with water.

5Using a tortilla press or flat baking dish, press a ball of dough with wax paper on each side.

6Press until tortilla is 6-inches round.

7Peel off top sheet of paper.

8Place tortilla on hot, ungreased griddle or skillet.

9Gently peel off top sheet wax paper.

10Cook for 30 seconds or until edges begin to dry.

11Turn; cook until surface appears puffy.
