- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Sift together dry ingredients.

2Stir in egg, milk and oil. Heat #5 iron skillet on top of stove with 2 tablespoons oil in it. When skillet is hot, quickly pour in batter.

3Bake at 425° for 25 minutes.

4When done, dump immediately on plate.
