- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
Directions

1Stir together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix milk and eggs together.

2Add to dry ingredients.

3Melt butter.

4Pour into cornmeal mixture.

5Pour into greased 8 or 9-inch square pan.

6Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

7Bake at 400°.
