  • 2 c. white meal
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine meal, 1 quart water and margarine; cook until thick. Add sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, milk and salt.

    Bake at 450° until it starts to brown, then finish at 350° for 1 hour.
