- 3 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Mix all ingredients.

2Pour into well-greased muffin pan.

3Put in enough oil so that it will come on top of batter.

4Bake at 450° for approximately 30 to 40 minutes or until real brown and crisp. Muffins can be cooked on broil.

5Just make sure they don't burn.
